CUPS's strong commitment to offering financial aid to eligible families stems from the desire to assist young families in their pursuit of high quality early childhood education for their children.  Contributions to the Ruth McGraw/Doris Rewick Scholarship Fund plus income from the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Foundation Endowment go directly to provide financial assistance to families whose children would not otherwise be able to attend CUPS.  This enables us to continue to support the desires of the congregation of Central Union Church by enabling ethnic and socio-economic diversity among our families.  It is an important component of CUPS as this mirrors the real world in which our children live.
