The Welcome Family Picnic hosted by Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten along with our Parent Teacher Organization was a hit! All of our children, parents and teachers gathered together in Parish Hall on a Friday evening to celebrate the start of a new school year.
Every family brought a dish to share with their class and there were so many delicious offerings to choose from. This is one of our favorite gatherings because it gives all the returning families a chance to reconnect with friends from the previous year as well as a chance to get to know some of the new parents.
The children were excited to see their friends and run around while parents were able to get to know their teachers outside the classroom. Below are some photos of the signs that each room made as well as photos of the families at the Welcome Back Picnic.
