Additional Gifts

For more than 80 years Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten has been providing an outstanding early childhood education experience for Hawai'i's keiki.  CUPS provides many opportunities for you to generously donate your gifts of time, talent and treasure in suupport of the school's programs and events.  Through your generosity, CUPS is able to continue to provide a quality early childhood expereince for generations to come. The Development Office gathers support and communicates with all groups related to CUPS.  Staff assists with fundraising for the Annual Fund, Capital Campaign, scholarships and special projects.  The development staff also lends support to Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten PTA; assisting with special events such  as Dazzle, (our annual dinner and silent auction), 'Ohana Fair, Fall Fitness and Snow Day. Volunteers are frequently on campus assisting in the classrooms, coordinating guest speakers, chaperoning field trips or volunteering at special events. The Development Office also coodinates programs such as:

• eScrip:  eScrip is a great resource where participating businesses partner with CUPS families and friends to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to CUPS.  (http://www.escrip.com) 
• Holoholo General Store:  Holoholo General Store and CUPS will be offering fresh produce to our CUPS ohana, with 10% of the proceeds directly benefiting CUPS' organic gardening.  Whenever possible, Holoholo General Store sources organic and sustainably grown local products. Not only does Holoholo General Stor enhance your child’s nutrition and health, it benefits our local farmers, our island economy and our environment.  http://holoholostore.com
• Foodand's Give Aloha Program: Give Aloha is an annual program through which Foodland directs its charitable giving to the organizations that are important to its customers. All Hawaii 501 (c)(3) organizations are invited to participate each year. During September, Maika`i customers are invited to make a donation of up to $249 (per person, per organization) at checkout to their favorite non-profit organization registered in Give Aloha.
