At Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten we encourage parents to join us in supporting their children.  Parents are considered important partners of the school and critical to their child’s success.  In fact, our strong parental involvement is one of the things that we feel makes Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten such a special place.

Parents are invited to participate in the daily program by assisting teachers and children on learning trips, helping at lunchtime, assisting with cooking activities, or at special events.  From classroom excursions, to cultural and seasonal events, the PTO at Central Union Church Preschool and Kindergarten are very involved in making the school a place where children will thrive.

We work to support this special bond between home and school through daily communication with parents and regularly scheduled conferences with teachers.  The PTO also holds a fundraising event and organizes several signature events for the children to experience and learn from, including the Ohana Welcome Picnic, Fall Event, Snow Day and more.  To see photos of some of the events, visit our photo gallery.
