The children are getting back into the routine at school. We continue learning about "Community Helpers" this month. We discussed about transportation (the various types of vehicles: that takes you from one place to another) and the importance of following the traffic lights on the streets. We discussed about "Firefighters," dialing 911 for emergency and the various types of emergency vehicles on our roads.We also easel painted, "New Year" drawing activity for our Portfolio Binders, explored theme related puzzles (firetrucks, police officers etc..), traffic lights (cutting activity) and build structures in the block center all these activities help to improve their fine motor skills.

Our 3's Age Level classrooms did a wonderful job singing songs and sharing the Christmas spirit with our neighbors at the Adult Day Care Center.

WACKY DAY was filled with fellowship with our friends in rooms 3 and 10.
We started it off all dressed up silly, we had our 3's Age Level Parade around the
campus, face painting and teachers/children dancing to the Halloween song the
"Monster Mash."

Busy, busy, busy….but having fun along the way! Exploring our Halloween pumpkin and bat math counters, painting our stuffed paper bag pumpkin, cutting/gluing activity and finishing up our "Color Book" with white square prints on White Day!
